my child has a venn diagram. we are supposed to show 6 differences between lava and magma and 3 similarities. The only things we find is that magma is molten rock under the earth and lava is molten rock when it is above ground

Without seeing your Venn diagram, it is difficult to answer your question.

Any regions in the venn diagrams which overlap would be similarites.

Any regions which do NOT overlap would represent differences.

Without seeing the diagram, this is the best I can do...I'm sorry.
